Reverend L.H. Bass launched the family company in 1959 from the utility room of his home in rural Southeast Georgia. As a Baptist preacher and electric motor repair expert, L.H. had an approach to business where quality, integrity, and customer service were his top priorities – as they are today – values ingrained in our fourth-generation family business.
In 2001 his son, Mickey Bass, gained full ownership of the company. Corey Bass, son of Mickey, specializes in electrical construction and troubleshooting. Mickey's other son, Doug Bass, specializes in electric motor repairs and rewind services.
Through proven sales and customer service, L.H. Bass & Sons Electrical, Inc. began distributing Toshiba Electric Motors nationwide in 2003.
